NATO country involved in mass attack on Russians?; Dire warning issued for 'worst case scenario'
Russia's ambassador to the UK, Andrei Kelin, has warned that Ukraine's recent drone strikes deep inside Russian territory risk starting World War III and accused the UK of playing a direct role in the escalation.

In a scathing interview with Sky News, Kelin pointed out that the Ukrainian attacks "bring the conflict to a different level of escalation" and insisted that "Kyiv should not try to drag out World War III".
"It's the worst possible scenario we can imagine," he said.
Kelin pointed the finger at Great Britain when he said that Ukraine must have had help in the attacks.
"This type of attack involves, of course, the provision of very high technology, so-called geospatial data, which can only be done by those who own it. And that is London and Washington," he said.
"I don't believe that America is involved, President Trump definitely denied that, but London did not deny it. We know perfectly how involved London is, how deeply British forces are involved in cooperation with Ukraine," he said.
Donald Trump said Wednesday that Vladimir Putin told him "very strongly" that Russia "will have to respond to the recent attack on airports."
The US President said he discussed the attack with Mr. Putin during a phone call that lasted more than an hour.
"It was a good conversation, but not a conversation that will lead to immediate peace," he wrote.
Kelly echoed this view, telling Sky News: "It's up to the Ministry of Defense to come up with the right solution, but we have to respond to it."
A Downing Street spokesman said: "We never comment on operational matters at home or abroad."
Let us remind you that during the weekend, Ukraine launched a massive drone attack which, according to President Volodymyr Zelensky, destroyed more than 40 Russian warplanes. The strikes - involving more than 100 drones - targeted airports inside Russian territory and were widely seen as one of Kyiv's most ambitious cross-border operations to date.
